Nicky Sun Shaojie

Nicky graduated from the University of Birmingham with an LLB (First Class Honours), and was recently called to the Singapore Bar in July 2025. 

Nicky has advised and acted for clients in advisory, enforcement, and trade mark litigation matters. In particular, he has successfully acted for the owners of the trade mark “Helinox” in a Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution (Helinox Inc., Helinox Pte. Ltd. v Trycia Pfeffer (WIPO Case No. D2025-2725)). In addition, Nicky is actively involved in brand enforcement work for a number of clients which include Premier League football clubs and luxury fashion brands.

Prior to joining the firm, Nicky trained at a boutique disputes resolution firm, where he assisted in numerous matters ranging from international commercial litigation to white-collar criminal investigations.

In his free time, he enjoys photography and watching Formula 1.
